Dear Zindagi

Hey everybody!!  This is Sindu. So today Teju, another friend of ours and I went to see Dear Zindagi. Now, I'm not usually a fan of Hindi movies but let me tell you that this is a must watch. It was a refreshing change from many of the movies these days as it's really relatable to people. They talked about things that happen in real life. They faced the problems a lot of people suffer from, head on.

Something everybody loves to do is watch beautiful things. This movie is made up of beautiful actors and one of the major reasons to watch Dear Zindagi is because the acting of the cast members was spectacular. Nearly every single person has faced some problem in their life and this movie portrayed such problems in a very impressive way that helps you relate to it and makes you feel what they feel. During the most emotional scenes of the movie I found almost the entire theatre crying. And even though they made us cry it is a movie I would gladly watch again.

In conclusion, it's a movie that had it all: a good storyline, a great cast, amazing acting and a beautiful location. I highly recommend everybody to watch it. It's not one of those movies you would want to miss. And I assure you, it will make you say Dear Zindagi to your own life.

Trip 2k16 to Kerala

Wayanad and Calicut

Hey guys!  So last week Teju and I went on this trip to Kerala with our school. Wayanad and Calicut to be exact. It was Amazing!!!
Starting with an overnight train journey to Kozhikode. We reached the station at around 4 in the morning and rushed out of the train cause it stops only for 5 minutes. We were all pumped up full of energy,  excited about the trip. And down the drain it all went when we waited at the station for about an hour for our bus. Then it was about 3 hours uphill to Wayanad. Finally we reached our resort. And it was absolutely amazing!!  Trees everywhere, a Creek down the middle, mini waterfall above the pool.... We ❤️ it... After lunch at the resort we went to Pookode lake. The place was super crowded. Since we were a crowd of more than 200 on our own we couldn't really do anything other than look at the lake. But we did binge on ice cream and corn on the way back. That was it for the day,  though. The rest was just relaxation time...

Day 2 started bright and early. First stop Soochipara Falls. Going to the falls was easy. It was the coming back that was the hard part. We had to walk downhill to reach the falls. It was fun.  We ran down with the wind on our faces. We just didn't realise we would actually have to walk back up too. The falls itself was really pretty. But like the day before it was really crowded. So up the hill we went. It took us almost double the time in which we went down. From there we got on our bus and went to Edakkal Caves. Had lunch from the trunk of a car and up we went again. This time the climb was first. And this was way more work than the falls. It was almost at a vertical incline at some parts. But the view from the top was totally worth it. It was breath-taking!! From the Caves it was back to our resort where we had a campfire waiting for us. So our last night at Wayanad was a good one.

The next day was our journey to Calicut. On the way down we stopped at Asia's second largest Earth dam. We climbed up the dam and walked across it. Though the sun had come up it was really pleasant outside. After that we went straight to our hotel in Calicut. We were all so tired from the day before that we slept the whole way there. After lunch at our hotel we walked to the Science Planetarium. Personally I've been to a few Science Planetariums. The one thing I really liked about this one was their 3D show. It was really creative. From there we went to the Kappad beach. By the time we reached the beach, it was pretty dark outside but we had a lot of fun dancing around the waves and singing at the top of our voices. When we went back to the hotel we found a DJ party waiting for us. Though we had a lot of places to cover the next day we had to cancel all our plans as there was a bandh in Kerala on that day. So we stayed up all night singing and dancing and just relaxed the next day.

We reached Chennai at around 8 in the morning. The minute we stepped out we started missing Wayanad. The minute we felt the Chennai sun beating down on us we missed the amazing weather back in Kerala. All through the bus ride back we talked about all the things we missed about the tour. Now we're all back to normal and we're just getting on with our usual lives with the tour as a bright spot in our past......
